1] WATERCOLOR TUTORIAL

2] PRACTICE WITH WATERCOLOR PAINT
    • Prepare your own palette using box assigned to tables
      • Apply a TINY dab of paint to each well and mix with A LOT OF WATER to be transparent
      • Layer once dry to darken and KEEP WHITES WHITE OF PAGE!
    • Paint with WATERCOLOR on provided paper to experiment with medium

3] CLEAN-UP 10 MINUTES BEFORE END OF CLASS
    • Sign name and store artwork on back drying rack
    • All PAINT PALETTES should be stored in bins - DO NOT CLEAN OUT (COVER NOT NECESSARY)

  • PRACTICE various watercolor techniques
  • Paint a STYLIZED COMPOSITION using abstract (simplified/distorted) or illustrative qualities in an original design
  • REALISTIC PAINTING based on a meaningful ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH such as a room, landscape, object, food, portrait, toy, object, scene, etc. Make it  looked ‘lived in’ or ‘used’ for interest. view lesson here
