Technique – Accurate values and color theory were applied
Studio Participation - Good use of class time, and works to continually improve work
Reflection - Reflect on artwork through a description, analysis with art vocabulary, interpretation of idea, and evaluation of the work

1-Brainstorm ideas – what will appeal to a viewer?
2-Find or take an original photo that will fill canvas – remember to consider your timeline and ability level
3-Grid your images 1 inch x 1 inch – your printout must at least be 5x5 (fill half a page)
4-Grid your sketchbook page to 5x5 for underdrawing
5-Create a line drawing by recognizing the relationship between the shapes
6-Use transfer paper to replicate your line drawing on your canvas
7-Follow the rules of painting and work back to front
